Island Spirit departed to the islands to fish seabass, but the wind came up early and kept us off the spot. We fished shallow water rockfish instead and much to our surprise it was excellent! Fishing anywhere from 90 to 160 feet, we saw REDS, CHUCKS, GROUPER, SCULPIN, WHITEFISH, and one SHEEPHEAD. Limits of rockfish for 22 anglers, plus 11 whitefish, 34 sculpin, 1 sheephead, and 1 lingcod.

ISLAND SPIRIT back online Friday April 28th for 3/4 day.
